This domain was an “Under construction” banner for two years. Before that, I had a really ugly website that I made while I was still learning CSS and JavaScript.
The reason it took me so long to make a new site is that I was always stuck in the "modern web design" bubble. I kept designing modern, minimalist websites, but I never felt satisfied with them. Then I realized that I don’t really like modern websites!
That’s how I decided to design it like a 2008 blogger page. No fancy animations, scroll transitions, or shaders. Just a basic website with gradients and drop shadows.
Another reason why I went with this design is that other developer portfolios always impress you with all their details, but they don’t really make you want to come back. I feel like this site is cozy and welcoming, inviting people (like you!) to explore and read about me and my projects.
I’d like to hear what you think. Feel free to send me an email or message me on Instagram or Twitter.
Thanks for reading!
